The 48th Joint School Science Exhibition Preparation Committee (JSSEPC) is now recruiting members!

Join the JSSEPC family to organize the annual Joint School Science Exhibition and its wide range of associating events! Strengthen your leadership, communication and team-working skills, gain lifelong experiences and create unique memories while you co-organize events with partners over 100 member schools.

Eligibility: Current F.4/F.5 (Year 10/11) students
Criteria:
1) Capable of leading, cooperating and communicating with fellow members
2) Able to devote time and effort into the Committee's work
3) Responsible and independent
4) Dedicated in promoting science to the public

Application deadline: 26th September, 2014, 23:59

Procedures for application:
1) Download and complete the Information Package and Application Form (see links below)
2) Email the scanned Application Form to info.47jssepc@gmail.com, or mail the completed Application Form to P.O. Box 91975, Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office, Hong Kong
3) Attend the Orientation Programme

Please note that members will be selected based on the contents of the Application Form.

Congratulations to PH17 Belilios Public School! Not only have they captured the Champion of Proposal Competition in March, but they also won the Most Popular Booth and Overall Champion yesterday!

The 47th Joint School Science Exhibition was officially opened yesterday. We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to each and every participating guest and media. Our honourable guests include Mrs. Fanny Law,GBS, JP; Dr. Rebecca Lee Lok Sze MH, aiding to create a grand and formal event. Other than presenting prizes for the Proposal Competition and the Primary School Colouring Competition, there were also opening addresses and guest speeches to kick off the Exhibition.

第四十七屆聯校科學展覽於昨天正式開幕，本會由衷感謝每一位嘉賓及媒體撥冗出席開幕典禮。是日開幕典禮的嘉賓包括香港科技園公司董事局主席羅范椒芬議員GBS, JP、極地博物館基金創辦人李樂詩博士MH等，場面盛大而隆重。除了開幕致詞及嘉賓致詞環節外，大會亦在典禮中頒發本會活動的獎項，包括小學生填色比賽及計劃書設計比賽。

The 47th Joint School Science Exhibition Workshops 第四十七屆聯校科學展覽工作坊

The 47th Joint School Science Exhibition Preparation Committee will organize six workshops in association with the Hong Kong New Generation Culture Association, the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, in the Activity Rooms of the Hong Kong Central Library, for participants to learn more about science in an interesting way in the course of the Exhibition. All primary and junior secondary school students are welcome to join.

小學生填色比賽 — 「家居科學呈獻填出美好明天」
早前，第四十七屆聯校科學展覽籌備委員會舉辦了一個填色比賽，旨在配合本年度聯校科學展覽的主題「家」。我們很榮幸能夠邀請永誠資訊科技集團為評審，在一萬七千多份作品中選出初小組(小一至小三)及高小組(小四至小六) 兩組的冠、亞、季軍以及十七名優異獎。得獎名單如下：

The Primary School Colouring Competition was held to promote our annual theme, “Home”, and the 47th J.S.S.E. to primary school students. We are very honoured to have I-Consulting Group to be our Adjudicator for this competition. This year we are presenting a Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and 17 Merits in the lower and higher primary divisions. The winners are as follows:
