Theme of the year
Home - Household Redesigned Science Redefined
Home is where we belong. It is our sanctuary, where we are secure and protected from instability. It is a place of tranquillity, where we can escape from the hustle and bustle of our society. It is a place for care and affection, where we can feel love and achieve equanimity. However, inconvenience and accidents are just several factors that may threaten the aforementioned qualities and purposes. Bearing the theme “Home”, the 47th Joint School Science Exhibition Preparation Committee hopes that students will achieve breakthroughs from existing domestic products and can improve the life at home by their innovative inventions. Students shall identify flaws in households, suggest preventive measures and create products in response to the problems. Ultimately, the original purposes and meanings of home are perfected.
